Title: Green Leaf Cafe Popular views:452
Description   Located in the Bong Seng Hotel on Dong Koi, this café is a number one pick for breakfast. The ‘Neptune’ eggs benedict cannot be beat, it is served with shrimp instead of bacon and smothered with hollandaise sauce. There is a fresh juice bar serving up refreshing morning cocktails such as the ‘Breakfast Boost’, made of pineapple, orange and strawberry. You can sit outside and watch the busy morning rush as you start your day in Sunny Saigon.

Title: Good Morning Vietnam Popular views:469
Description   Don’t let the name fool you, this is the best Italian food in Saigon in the heart of the backpacker district. The restaurant is nestled amongst bars and shops and has a fantastic décor including stained glass windows on the top floor which is air-conditioned.

The chocolate mousse is outstanding. Must try the eggplant parmesan and penne with cream sauce , mushroom, and ham. The food is authentic Italian and served throughout Vietnam, the owner is rumored to be Italian and married to a Vietnamese. The whole dining experienceis delectable with tasty food and interesting atmosphere.

Title: Ngoc Suong Popular views:365
Description   Look for the big windmill in District 1! Ngoc Suong is the place for fresh seafood. The atmosphere is great with an outdoor seating area and a live band playing decent music. There is also an indoor seated area if you want to stay in air conditioning.

The drunken prawns are entertaining as they are caught live from the unique aquarium in the front of the restaurant, soaked in liquor, and cooked right in front of you. Beware of removing the lid as the prawns will jump right out of the bowl. The St .Jacques scallops are delicious and creamy. There are many items on the menu to choose from, the prices are reasonable but a little higher than the local Vietnamese places. You will find many foreigners in this hot spot.

Title: Heart of Darkness Popular views:508
Description   A very interesting atmosphere with cheap beers. The organized parties are always packed and a lot of fun. This is a good place to go with a crowd as the bar layout is good for big groups.

Title: Allez Boo Popular views:425
Description   This little hot spot goes from a restaurant during the day to the place to be late night in the heart of the backpackers district. It should be your last stop for the evening as it is open long after the other bars close. Beers are cold and the patrons are entertaining. It is always crowded with people of all sorts, and kids selling you whatever you are willing to by. There is a pool table and any spirits you wish to drink. Ladies be sure to bring your tissues with you. It is a traditional vietnamese place without aircon or toilet tissue.
